Affiliated Organizations
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) IREM provides education, resources, information and credentialed membership to promote ethical real estate management practices in both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors. It offers designations including the Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation and the Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM®) certification.
Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) Property Managers must meet stringent requirements to earn the CPM designation. On the job experience of at least three years is required and they must pass the CPM exam, adhere to the Code of Ethics, obtain multiple recommendations and undergo interviews.
Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM®) The ARM requirements are similar to the CPM criteria except on the job experience of at least one year is required along with several education options.
United States Green Building Council (USGBC) The USGBC is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that certifies sustainable businesses, homes, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™.
Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA®) To earn the CMCA certification, a manager must complete and pass the CAI-sponsored course, Essentials of Community Association Management, complete and submit the CMCA application, and pass the CMCA Examination—a 3-hour, 120 multiple-choice question exam.
Association Management Specialist® (AMS®) The AMS designation demonstrates a higher level of commitment to the community association industry. The AMS designation is for managers that already have been CMCA certified who seek a higher level of expertise to enhance their ability to serve communities.
Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) BOMA International is a network of professionals involved in building ownership, management, development and leasing. They are a primary source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments.
International Facility Management Association (IFMA) IFMA is the world’s largest association for professional facility managers, supporting more than 19,500 members in 60 countries. IFMA members manage more than 37 billion SF and purchase more than $100 billion in products and services annually. IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs and recognizes facility management certificate programs.
Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce (GLVCC) With over 5000 members, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce is the second largest Chamber in the state of Pennsylvania and the largest in New Jersey. It provides members with opportunities to enhance their business through exclusive member-only access to a variety of benefits.
CoStar Group CoStar is the industry's most comprehensive digital library containing 1 million for-sale and for-lease property listings. CoStar’s online real estate database is one of the most frequently consulted sources of information about the Lehigh Valley office market. ValleyWide’s listings receive Preferred Property status and appear at the top of user search results.
LoopNet LoopNet is a listing service used widely by agents, tenants and property owners to locate property. LoopNet reaches three million members and includes 4.7 billion SF of properties for lease.
Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service The LVAR MLS covers the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area. Primarily known for listing residential properties, it also serves as a prominent and useful database of commercial properties as well.
Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation LVEDC is our local business and economic development agency which provides information and guidance to tenants searching for space to lease in the Lehigh Valley. ValleyWide works closely with the LVEDC to ensure that our listings receive the benefit of their connections and resources.
TriState REALTORS Commercial Association TriState offers an opportunity for ValleyWide’s agents to network, receive continuing education and attend industry oriented seminars relative to their needs. The organization crosses state borders, encompassing all locations within the natural marketplace of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware.
Community Associations Institute (CAI) CAI is a national alliance serving community associations to competent community associations and assist community associations in promoting responsible leadership. CAI provides education and resources to residential condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations and to the professionals who serve them.
